Hot Smoking Guide

  1. Soak the Olive Root Wood Fine Chips in water for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the smoker if you are using charcoal
  3. The temperature should be around 100-120 degrees Centigrade or as per the manufacturer´s instructions.
  4. Add the chips to the metal smoker box and place on top of the charcoal.
  5. Cook according to the manufacturer’s or recipe instructions.

    Bought a Barbecook charcoal smoker and decided to try smoking pork ribs with the olive root wood fine chips. Used the broth tray as well filled with water. Smoked the ribs for four hours at circa 110 degrees centigrade. Fantastic result, ribs didn´t last long need to cook more next time.
